A Tuition-Free Classical Public Charter School for Oxford-Area Families
Oxford Classical Charter School is a proposed tuition-free public charter school built on a rigorous, content-rich classical curriculum. Prospective families, residents, and community members can complete a new survey that documents local support and anticipated student grades for Fall 2028.
Oxford Classical is proposed, not yet open, and not yet accepting applications for admission.
Families can identify each prospective student’s anticipated grade in September 2028 without providing the child’s name. Community supporters can document their support separately.
The school is being designed around a classical, content-rich course of study aligned with Hillsdale College’s K-12 curriculum.

A recognized public charity
Oxford Classical Charter School is a proposed tuition-free public charter school being developed by Oxford Classical Charter Academy, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3), effective March 5, 2026. The proposed school is not yet open or accepting applications for admission.
Clear distinction
Federal tax exemption and Pennsylvania charitable registration support fundraising and responsible nonprofit operations. They do not authorize the proposed public charter school. Charter approval remains a separate public process.
